For quite some time I have thought that a mashup of Lovecraft and Alice in Wonderland.

This is my second comic in the Foetid Crocus series. The quote is from ”The Festival” by Lovecraft.

I managed to find five more! I am pretty sure that’s the last of them, though.

…And this is my own first attempt at creating the Family Circus+Lovecraft mashup. As you may be able to tell, I had some difficulty matching the font so in the end I decided not to try. The font I used is Bohemian Typewriter designed by Lukas Krakora. I like it so much that I use it on my business cards.

I like the quote I chose, which is from “Dagon” by Lovecraft. But since this is my first attempt I am not entirely sure it works. I also came up with the alternative comic name Foetid Crocus to replace Family Circus.

I found another Family Circus+Lovecraft comic, this one obviously by someone else… he changed the image as well as the text. I like it.
